Hello friends!
The Regina Folk Festival ended for me in the most wonderful way. After Buffy closed the main stage I headed down to the cenotaph with Patrick Watson and the Little Miss Higgins gang.
We did an improvised three song show for whoever was there to hear. What a treat on so many levels.
This weekend has fortified my decision to pursue music in much greater ways than I could have ever imagined. The next week offers a bit of time to reflect on exactly what just happened.
(And then the grant writing begins.)
The best I can say is thank you.
You are welcome - thanks for taking the energy and making this beautiful finale. If you find the recording of it (some guy was recording it) I would sure like to hear Summertime as i missed it and I had a little something to do with it happening (and it is one of my favourite songs).
